Annual Travel to Work Survey:
Businesses have until the 4th of February to register to take part in the Annual Travelwest Travel to Work Survey which runs from 4th to 17th March.
The Travel to Work Survey provides an opportunity for staff to share information about their commute to work, even if they are working from home.
The survey covers organisations with offices based in the West of England (Bath & North East Somerset, Bristol and South Gloucestershire) and takes no more than 5 minutes to complete.
Each participating organisation will be given a personalised weblink and QR code to help promote the survey to staff as well as suggested comms and promotion images. Organisations can also add up to 4 additional survey questions.

News:
Cycle Parking on Friary for Temple Meads is being relocated.
From Network Rail: When it was constructed a couple of years ago, we advised the current location on Friary was only a temporary arrangement, as the land was on loan to us to enable the station’s roof renovations to get underway. That contract is now up and the landowner needs the site back for development.
Ultimately, the majority of the station’s bicycle parking will be located at the new Southern Gateway entrance, accessed via Bath Road, which is due to be built as part of the Temple Quarter programme. In the interim, we unfortunately need to make another temporary move for the bike racks.

Ahead of Bristol’s council election on 2nd May, Bristol Cycling Campaign want to ask the political parties and prospective candidates whether they support action to make cycling safer, easier and more accessible in every ward in Bristol. To help them ask the right questions, they’d appreciate it if you could tell them what you think are the key things that need to be done; in your neighbourhood, on your regular route, and all across Bristol by completing their short questionnaire.
Bristol: Muller Road (Railway Bridge to Heath Road) Transport Improvements – closes 25th February

Bristol City Council is seeking feedback on the second phase of proposed improvements to Muller Road from the Muller Road railway bridge by Shaldon Road down to Heath Road.
The aim of the overall project is to develop and improve bus services running up and down Muller Road and to make walking and cycling easier and safer.
